
Kathmandu, Feb 24 : The ongoing seventh meeting of the Eminent Persons' Group
(EPG) formed by both Nepal and India governments to study the entire gamut of
bilateral relations has agreed to give final shape to the draft of suggestion
it received so far.
A member of the
EPG told the National News Agency (RSS) that agreement was made to prepare a
draft of the achievements EPG made so far, and the information to this would be
shared at a press conference Sunday afternoon.
The series of
meetings between the EPG members from Nepal and India have talked on various
pertinent issues as Peace and Friendship Treaty of 1950, border management and
security, hydropower, and national interests.
The EPG was formed
after the agreement between the two countries in the prime ministerial level
two years back. Its term is being expired after four months.
