Chitwan, Dec 15: Candidates of different political parties except left alliance
and democratic alliance to the House of Representatives and Provincial
Assemblies in the district forfeited their deposit.
A total of 95
candidates were in the race of House of Representatives and Provincial
Assemblies elections in the district.
The district has three constituencies and
six Provincial Assemblies.
A total of 42
people had filed their candidacies to the House of Representatives and 53 in
Provincial Assemblies. Out of 42 HoR candidates, 20 candidates got less than
100 votes.
Similarly, out of
53 Provincial Assemblies candidates, 37 failed to receive 100 votes.
