Kathmandu, March 14:
A proposal tabled at the Legislature-Parliament meeting today, seeking consideration on the bill relating to State facilities to former office-bearers was accepted by a majority.
Minister for Law, Justice and Federal Affairs Ajay Shankar Nayak presented the proposal on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs.
Responding to lawmakers' queries over the bill, Minister Nayak said the bill was introduced to the House as a respect to former office-bearers in recognition of their contribution to the nation and people.
A final decision regarding the bill will be taken only after evaluating the capacity of State coffer, making necessary law to make it systematic and revising the bill, he said.
