Dang, Dec 7: Prime Minister Pusha Kamal Dahal has reaffirmed his commitment that the incumbent government will not revoke the recently registered constitution amendment bill.
Inaugurating a bridge over the Rapti River at Dang district today, PM further asserted that the bill registered on November 29 will not be overturned come what may and the amendment will be sought within the limitation of parliamentary process.
Stating that the incumbent government forwarded the bill that was prepared by the UML-led government, Dahal accused the UML, the major opposition, that protesting the bill was a mere propaganda.
The PM also urged the agitating political parties, including UML, to come to consensus for the greater national good.
Dahal argued," UML will realize its mistake of starting protest against the bill that seeks to unifying hill, mountain and Terai and further strengthening national unity and geographical indivisibleness."
Pledging his full cooperation for the development of Dang, PM Dahal pointed out the need to upgrade the Lamahi-Koilabash road section.
