» » UML briefs lawmakers about impeachment motion

Kathmandu, Oct 20:  The main opposition CPN (UML) today has informed its lawmakers about importance and meaning of the impeachment motion registered against Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

The parliamentary party meeting of the UML held at New Baneshwar today directed its lawmakers to sign the motion as only 107 lawmakers had signed on it Wednesday, party chief whip Bhanubhakta Dhakal said.  

He further shared that the meeting had directed its all lawmakers to be compulsorily present on Sunday (October 23)'s House meeting.

Present in the meeting were chair KP Sharma Oli, senior leader Jhalnath Khanal, leader Madhav Kumar Nepal among others.
