» » Nepal-India cultural fair kicks off in Kailali

Kailali, Oct 21: The Nepal-Indian Cultural Fair kicked off in Kailali Friday, aiming to promote cultural tourism and trade between Nepal and India.

      Former Minister and CPN-Maoist Centre leader Lekhraj Bhatt inaugurated the Fair organized by Nepal Tent Entrepreneur Association, Kailali Branch.

Leader Bhatt argued that the Fair has respected people from all castes and communities, as it was being visited by the people from diverse communities from both countries.

      Various cultural programmes, including folk dances as Mayur, Mugal and Kacchi Godhi among others from all five regions of the country, will be organized in the Fair, according to Binod Malla, Fair Organizing Committee Coordinator.

      The event will last through October 30.
