» » DAO reboots display board to measure rainfall and water level

Dhangadi, July 3: The 'display board' set up to gauge the rainfall amount and water level has been brought into operation again here at District Administration Office, Kailali.

The equipment was restarted as the monsoon is in full swing across the country, administrative official, Netra Poudel said.

The DAO installed the board last year under emergency response centre to record the water levels in Karnali river, which serves as the border between Bardiya and Kailali. The board is rebooted every year during the monsoon season.

The DAO has been informing the settlements living nearby the river of the possible flooding and inundation.
