» » Talks only with favourable atmosphere: federal alliance

Kathmandu, June 17: The agitating federal alliance has decided to sit for a dialogue provided the government built a favourable atmosphere for the same.
A meeting of the Alliance held at the office of Federal Socialist Forum on Thursday decided to continue with the agitation and go for the dialogue table if the government presents itself with flexibility over its demands. "We will sit for a dialogue if an atmosphere conducive to it is provided", said Laxman Lal Karna co-Chair of Sadbhanwa Party, a member of the alliance. We are in favour of resolving the problem through talks, but the government should show seriousness towards that end.

The decision was also seconded by a meeting this evening of the United Democratic Madhesi Front, which is also part of the broader alliance of ethnicity-based and regional parties.
