» » Parties need to focus on resolving problems: DPM Gachhadar

Pathari (Morang), March 13: Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar has said the major political parties should engage their concerted efforts to resolve problems surfaced in Tarai-Madhes.

Talking to journalists at Biratnagar Airport on Sunday, DPM Gachhadar spoke importance of forging consensus among the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and UCPN (Maoist) to settle the dispute of delineation of provinces.

Stating that problems would not be resolved by intensifying agitation and strike, he urged the Madhesi Morcha to come at consensus respecting aspirations of the people.

Gachhadar, also the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Works, clarified that the government would not topple until local polls, implementation of new constitution and completion of post-earthquake reconstruction tasks.
