Janakpurdham, 13 Feb: -Armed robbers have decamped with cash and valuables
worth Rs 800 thousand from the house of Shreechan Yadav at Lakkar VDC-2 in east
Dhanusha district on Friday night.
A gang
of robbers, numbering in the dozen and brandishing arms, also fired five rounds
in the air. They also thrashed Yadav, his wife and other family members in the
process of plundering at the house.
The bandits looted Rs 300 thousand in cash and gold and
silver ornaments, a local Bishweshwar Yadav said. Police have mounted a search
for the bandits, the Area Police Office, Khajuri stated
